Fruiting Body: cap 7-15 cm; stalk central, 6-12 cm long x 1-2 cm diameter. Spore Print Color: purplish brown. Spores: basidiospores 7-9 x 4-6 µm, ellipsoid, smooth, dark brown.

Diagnostic macroscopic feature: white mushroom with free gills that are dark brown when mature, with white stalk and annulus growing in grassy areas
