Fruiting Body: lobes 2-10 (-15) cm; centrally to laterally attached. Spore Print Color: white. Spores: basidiospores 12-14 x 4-6 µm, allantoid, smooth, hyaline.

Diagnostic macroscopic feature: brown jelly fungus with ear-shaped lobes that are finely hairy on one side, fruiting particularly on hickory or oak branches after heavy rain
