Description:

Fruiting Body: cap 1-5 cm; stalk central, 6-12 cm long x 2-5 mm diameter. Spore Print Color: rusty brown. Spores: basidiospores 10.7-12.7 x 6-7.5 µm, smooth, dark reddish brown.

Diagnostic macroscopic feature: young specimens have bright yellow, slimy caps with whitish to yellowish stalk, gills becoming rusty brown when mature, and are found on rotting vegetation or dung

Diagnostic microscopic feature: large inflated sterile cells, in hymenium, same length as basidia
